Charles J Greenberg was the Founding Library Director for the Wenzhou-Kean University Library, situated in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. Prior to his appointment in China, he co-founded and maintained the Yale School of Medicine’s Thesis Digital Library, a repository of medical student theses launched in 2002. Charles joined the NDLTD Board of Directors in 2011 after attending and presenting papers at ETD symposia since 2003. Charles currently serves as Chair of the NDLTD Awards Committee, as well as the NDLTD Finance Committee. He also continues to submit papers and nominate unique & memorable student ETDs for awards. He nominated student award-winning theses for the 2004 and 2012 ETD annual symposia. Recently, Charlie presented a paper at ETD2018 in Taipei, Taiwan, on Dissertation Coaches and ETD Submissions. Charlie is also a part-time Lecturer for the iSchool at San Jose State University and is a Distinguished Member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals.
