One year after the Law 30335 mandating Open Access came into force, there is a number of positive results listed below. 

Implementation of ALICIA (Peruvian National Repository) that currently includes 38,742 records, 8267 are undergraduate theses, 1930 master's theses and 386 PhD ETDs.

32 public and private institutions participate in ALICIA, but only a half of them – 16 institutions – have electronic theses collections. 

Peruvian recommendations about processing information in institutional repositories have been updated.  

There is a growing interest in implementing institutional repositories.
