Evolving Genre of ETDs for Knowledge discovery

ETD 2015 India: 18th International Symposium on Electronic Theses and dissertations is being organized by Central Library, Jawaharlal Nehru University, in collaboration with NDLTD and INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar, during November 04-06, 2015 at Convention Centre, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. This conference is being organized first time in Indian Sub-continent and will be a unique opportunity to learn from the experience of the worldwide leaders in the field of digital archiving of Electronic Theses and Dissertations. This platform will also help libraries to learn more about digitization of theses and dissertations and other related issues. After careful review of all submissions, 84 proposals have been shortlisted for presentation in main sessions of the conference, and 40 proposals for poster presentations. The selected presentations cover topics in "Managing ETDs" (59), "ETDs for Research and Development" (30), "Legal and Ethical Issues for ETDs" (4), and "Tools and Technologies for ETDs" (28).
